Cool night air
My lonely house has me feeling interesting. Coupled with the deafening sounds that inhabit the cool summer night air, I actually feel productive/creative/whatever you wish to call it. Outside somewhere in the darkness is this chorus of crickets and cicadas and the racket they produce is incredible and at the same time, incessant.
I’ve been feeling overwhelmingly lonesome these past few days...

As a side note..
My friends have now all left me—aside from those of which I go to school with—to waste and rot away in my ever present state of boredom and social decay.
Classes start a week from today (yesterday).
So starts my—seemingly futile—attempt to be a good student for once, and get my “life” on track.
It seems such a shame to throw away years of a very dedicated...

Hey Tumblr followers
I just wrote for an hour and a half. So unfortunately for any of you who actually pay attention to my blog, I don’t have much to say tonight.
But I will say this: my writer’s block is gone, gone, gone.
For now. ;)

Even now I curse the day—and yet, I think, Few come within the compass of my curse,— Wherein I did not some notorious ill, As kill a man, or else devise his death, Ravish a maid, or plot the way to do it, Accuse some innocent and forswear myself, Set deadly enmity between two friends, Make poor men’s cattle break their necks; Set fire on barns and hay-stacks in the night, And bid...

Whisper
Even a quiet whisper is booming at this hour. It cuts through old stone walls, And up basement stairs. It falls at your feet, But you gingerly step over. It chases at your heels and spirals ‘round your ankles, Curling like a puff of smoke. Climbing tanned legs exposed to the thigh, It gets lost in the folds of your shorts, And the soft white cotton shirt, That hangs loosely from your body....

Summer is over.
My one sister, Melissa, left for college on Sunday. My other sister, Kelly, left for college today.
I keep getting the feeling that when I turn the corner I’ll accidentally bump into one of them… I half expect Kelly to walk in the door any moment after being out at work or out with her boyfriend. I half expect to hear Mel’s nightly gibberish sleep talking coming from the dark...

Little things
When it seems like everything in life is going awry, it tends to be the little things that can pick an individual’s spirit up like no other.
It seems as though things have just been falling apart for myself lately. Aside from the obvious emotional and personal problems (which need no further detail) my car—which on most days performs as a top notch automobile—has been crumbling...

Atlanta
Even peaches have dark secrets. The sweetest of fruits, The softest of skins. The juice drips down your chin As you take an impassioned bite. For a moment I imagine you walking Along the edge of the sea. The tide passes by your feet. Your footprints appear so lovely, But waves erase even the most beautiful of tracks. . . . . . . . . . . . My eyes shoot open...

I'm not a superstitious person
Living with OCD and “irrational” thoughts for most of my life has taught me that superstitions are really absurd, and not only that, they are unbelievably dangerous. They can bog an individual down in the worst ways. They can keep you from doing anything at all. If it gets bad enough an individual with superstitions may not leave their house at all. It ‘s quite similar to living...

Tomorrow, tomorrow
The alarm will go off promptly at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Not to say I won’t smack the snooze button but I have plans to get up quite early tomorrow.
I want to go for a run nice and early. Then I gotta come home and take a shower and get out the door for breakfast with mom no later than 9:30.
And last but not least, I gotta get my lazy ass over to work at 10:30. I’ll be stuck there...

Finally wrote something tonight
Tonight has been the first time in a while that I sat down and wrote some fiction. I’m proud, but more than that I’m elated. It feels so good to do some writing. I wrote about 6 full pages of a short story and only stopped because my shift at work was over.
Hopefully I’ll pick back up right where I left off. As for now, all my friends are at my house, some crazy end of the...
