This is the kind of song I imagine playing in an individual’s head as their car flips over endlessly, seemingly in slow motion.
During that infinitely finite amount of time you’re given, when all of your memories play at an immeasurable pace yet you see all of them as if they are in “real time”, and in the few seconds you have you’re able to contemplate a supertemporal amount of thoughts—some important, others arbitrary, all ultimately irrelevant—like if you left the stove on, or if you really love them, or if you should have been less afraid of the ball in little league like your father instructed, or if, maybe, had you done or not done that one thing, then maybe things would be different, or if you’d lived a good life—this last thought always seeming to take a backseat to the others.
